We teach business: training for employees of "QazTehna" LLP

1Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation and Partnership between Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz and QazTehna LLP, Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor of Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz Dauletova Aziza Mekemtasovna conducted a short-term training on the topic "Mastery of time: strategies for effective time management".

The purpose of the training is to equip managers of a large enterprise with advanced skills and tools for time management, which will improve the efficiency of personal work and increase the productivity of teams.

The key points in the training program were the following topics;

  • Timekeeping and time planning;
  • Integrated time management methods;
  • Delegation and task management , etc .

With the help of special cases, exercises, tasks and games, skills are formed that are used in any field: from personal life to managing a large company.

The training on this topic is very practical and useful for participants, helping them to better organize their time and achieve their goals more effectively.

On April 20, 2024, the university held a training for undergraduates of the MBA program "Strategic Management and Leadership" "Consumer orientation" with the participation of an organizational psychologist, an expert in management, psychology and efficiency Mustafin Yerlan Seitkenovich.

Understanding the current and future needs of consumers and other stakeholders contributes to the organization's sustainable success, and therefore the principle of "Customer orientation" is key among the principles of management, as the organization wins and retains the trust of consumers and other stakeholders.  This skill is a cornerstone in the activities of professional managers.

The training was focused on developing skills such as understanding market principles and consumer behavior, preparing for a career, and others.

The knowledge gained during the training can be useful for the future careers of undergraduates in various fields related to business, marketing, sales and management.

The training was organized by the faculty of the Department of Management and Innovation.

An important element of ensuring the sustainable development of society and the economy is the fight against economic crimes. It promotes the development and attraction of investments, the creation of favorable business conditions and the improvement of economic growth.

So, on April 19, a meeting of students with employees of the Department of Economic Investigations in the Karaganda region, which is a territorial body carrying out implementation functions for the prevention, detection, suppression, disclosure and investigation of economic and financial offenses attributed by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took place at the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz.

Deputy Head Sharishev Samat Muratovich and head of the Administrative Department Sattybayeva Meruert Rakhimbekovna told the students in detail about the current situation in the country, about embezzlement of budget funds and other economic crimes.

They paid special attention to attracting students to the state structure. The staff of the Department explained the procedure for entering the civil service.

The information provided was useful for students. Communication with representatives of the DARE allowed us to clarify all the questions of interest about entrance exams and career prospects in the civil service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The path to a successful career: information session on pension contributions and employment

On April 15, employees of the Career Center of the city of Karaganda, together with the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund and the Youth Affairs Inspector, held a meeting with students of the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz. During the meeting, government employment programs, youth projects and the pension fund system were explained. The Fund's specialists explained in an accessible form what pension models exist in the world, how the Kazakh pension system works.

The topic of the speeches aroused great interest among the audience, many were attracted by remote ways of obtaining services and communication channels with the UAPF, and already working students were attracted by the topic of mandatory pension contributions from income under civil contracts. The organizers expressed the hope that such meetings will help the younger generation to think about the formation of pension capital at the beginning of their career, which in turn will allow them to provide a decent life on a well-deserved vacation.

At the end of the meeting, detailed answers to the students' questions were given.

The student dormitory, being a socially significant real estate object, is a second home for nonresident students studying at our university. It is very important that comfortable living conditions are created in it, outside of educational and leisure activities. Our dormitories are comfortable, safe, and have all the conditions for living, studying, and recreation.

Living in a dormitory teaches all students to be independent, and makes some really economic. A small room becomes its own home. Everyone tries to make their own room cozy.

It has become a good tradition at our university to hold a competition for the best room in student dormitories for housing and living conditions, exemplary order and leisure activities for young people. Thus, the results of the competition "The best room of the 2023-2024 academic year" were summed up in dormitory No. 1. The competition was held in three rounds, at each stage there were certain requirements, such as comfort and cleanliness; aesthetic design; compliance with internal regulations by residents; landscaping of the room; participation in kitchen duty and more.

According to the inspection reports of the commission group, which included: a specialist of the University's Youth Initiatives Center, student activists of dormitories and the Student Parliament, two rooms took the first place:

 Room No. 316, Zhaksan Mayra, Bekkul Bekzada, Zholdybai Asemai live;

Room No. 320, Shaimerden Daniyar, Kalkhavai Zhanasyl, Madet Maulen live.

The guys who took 1st place received cinema tickets as a gift!
