Explanation of the anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan: meeting of students with experts
On September 12, 2024, a meeting of students with employees of the Prevention Department of the Anti-Corruption Service of the Karaganda region and the head of the compliance service of the University took place at the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz. The purpose of this meeting was to clarify the ongoing work on the implementation of the Concept of Anti-Corruption Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022-2026.
Employees of the Department told about the project "Anti-corruption volunteering", about the international youth competition of social anti-corruption advertising "Together against corruption".
During the meeting, the main directions of the country's anti-corruption strategy were highlighted in detail, as well as measures aimed at preventing and preventing corruption offenses in the educational sphere. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss examples of real situations, which contributed to a better understanding of the importance of active participation of every citizen in the fight against corruption. Special attention was paid to the issues of transparency, openness, as well as the role of the compliance service in ensuring honest and ethical standards at the university.
These meetings contribute to the deepening of students' knowledge and understanding of the measures taken by the state to combat corruption, the formation of good relations and the strengthening of moral values, as well as the formation of a culture of anti-corruption among students and their involvement in the implementation of anti-corruption policy.
