Connecting Ideas, People and Opportunities: Participation of Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz Faculty Members in C5+O.N.E. Cohort 6
With the support of the Multilingual Education Center of Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz, university faculty members are participating in the international C5+O.N.E. program, fully funded by the U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan.
The program aims to develop English language proficiency and professional skills in areas such as business, entrepreneurship, environmental sustainability, tourism, and professional communication. It also promotes professional networking and knowledge exchange among participants from Central Asian countries and the United States.
On September 19, 2026, the C5+O.N.E. Cohort 6 National Networking Event was held in Astana, bringing together 75 program participants, alumni, and representatives of the U.S. Embassy. The event provided a platform for professional communication, knowledge and experience sharing, developing new professional connections, and strengthening interaction within the C5+O.N.E. community. Participants took part in interactive educational and networking sessions, exchanged professional experiences with peers and program alumni, and expanded their professional networks. The participation of Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz faculty members in C5+O.N.E. Cohort 6 contributes to the development of their language and professional competencies, as well as to the expansion of international academic and professional collaboration.
The Multilingual Education Center of Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz organizes and supports the participation of university faculty members in the program, creating additional opportunities for their professional development, improvement of English language skills, and development of international professional networks.
