Ethnic and religious tolerance - the basis of sustainable development of Kazakhstan
On February 27, 2015, in the framework of celebration of the Year of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan (AKP), have been held a roundtable discussion on theme "Ethnic and religious tolerance - the basis of sustainable development of Kazakhstan", dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the AKP, with the participation of Secretariat of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, ethnic and cultural associations, members of the AKP Scientific-expert group of Karaganda region and student youth.

The roundtable was attended by: - Director of KSI "Kogamdyk kelisim" of Karaganda region akim's apparatus, member of the Regional Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Rapikov Baurzhan, Head of Scientific Expert Group (SEG) of regional APK, d.m.sc., professor Molotov-Luchansky V.B., head of the Polish ethnic and cultural association "Polonia" Chmelewskiy V.A., members of the Scientific Expert Group of Karaganda region APK, prorector of KEUK, d.h.sc., professor K.J. Abilov, senior teacher of the history of Kazakhstan and socio-political disciplines department of KSMU Mustafina T.V., a specialist in public relations with associations of educational and social work division of KSMU, APK SEG secretary Milyaeva I.I., head of social work and social and political sciences department,c.p.sc., docent Abdakimova M.K., students from Russia studying in KEU within academic mobility with Belgorod State National Research University Elizabeth Zimakova and Klimenko Elmira.
Main speakers of the round table covered various aspects of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, the contribution of the APK in the strengthening of inter-ethnic and inter-religious tolerance as a basis for sustainable development of Kazakhstan.
Was organized a book exhibition "Unity - for the sake of the future."
