Fair Kazakhstan with open competition and equal opportunities for everyone
The Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 1, 2022 is a fundamental document that determines the main directions for the development of Kazakhstani society.
First of all, I would like to note that the main part of the Message is devoted to the socio-economic development of the country. The provisions on the National Fund for Children are interesting, based on the principle that children and youth are our future. Upon reaching the age of majority, the accumulated amounts will be used to purchase housing and receive education. These funds will give the younger generation a real ticket to adulthood.
The retirement age for women in Kazakhstan will be reduced to 61 years. The corresponding bar will be fixed until 2028.
Separately, the President dwelled on the incomes of Kazakhstanis. The state will introduce a new methodology for determining the minimum wage, which will gradually increase its size. The head of state also noted that he had decided to raise the minimum wage from 60 to 70 thousand tenge. This will directly affect the incomes of almost 2 million citizens.
The political modernization of society and the state will continue, where the development of parliamentarism will take a central place. The updated Constitution sets completely new standards for a political system with fair and open rules of the game.
At the same time, the challenges facing Kazakhstan right now require a systemic restructuring of both the state apparatus and the system of public relations in general. Some of the economic, social and foreign policy risks have already shown themselves, and they need to be addressed.
The reform of the current legislation will be continued, in particular, the adoption of a new law on public procurement, new rules for state regulation of business, which will positively affect the development and support of domestic small and medium-sized businesses.
But in order for all the provisions voiced to work, there is still a lot of work to be done.
