The Departments of "Marketing and Logistics" and "Commodity Science and Certification" took part in a regional seminar on the development of a cooperative bachelor's degree program "Logistics in the food industry"
On March 14-17, 2023, a regional seminar on the development of a cooperative bachelor's degree program "Logistics in the food industry" within the framework of GIZ PECA was held in Andijan (Uzbekistan).
The international project implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH "Professional education for economic growth sectors in Central Asia" (English PECA) promotes the modernization of professional education in Central Asia on the example of the food industry and logistics.
The project is being implemented in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, whose delagations were presented at a regional seminar.
The seminar was attended by representatives of GIZ PECA - Gulnara Rakhmatullayeva, the head of the ICON expert team -Herman Sonneveld, ICON experts - Professor Frank Gillert, Frank Neumann.
Teachers of the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz participated from Kazakhstan: Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor Yesenbayeva G.A. - Head of the Department of Commodity Science and Certification; Candidate of Economics Mazhitova S.K. – Head of Department of Marketing and Logistics; Master's degree, Department of Marketing and Logistics senior teacher Shakhshina A.K., as well as a practical worker, Chief technologist for Natige company Isataeva R.B.
The delegations of partner universities (Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz, Osh Technological University named after M.M. Adyshev, Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies, Tajik Technical University named after Osimi) mutually familiarized themselves with the draft curricula of the educational program "Logistics"; shared their experience in the development of the specialty, identified differences in regulations in the field of higher professional education; identified common steps to create the basis for the consistent development of a cooperative bachelor's degree program, as well as subsequent preparation for accreditation for all partner universities.
