VIII International Gathering of Students "MODERN YOUTH: CREATING INNOVATIONS – WE STRIVE FOR THE FUTURE"
On April 12, representatives of the scientific community celebrated their professional holiday in Kazakhstan – the Day of Science Workers. The date of the celebration was not chosen by chance. This day is associated with the birthday of the man who stood at the origins of the organization of scientific activity in Kazakhstan - Academician K.I. Satpayev, the first President of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR, who headed it in 1946.
As part of the Science Day on April 14, 2023, the annual VIII International Student Meeting "Modern Youth: Creating innovations – we strive for the future" was held at the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz. The purpose of the Meeting is to create conditions for self-realization, professional and creative development of young researchers, identification and support of talented youth in the conditions of digital transformation.
More than 100 students of higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan and more than 20 from near and far abroad took part in the international meeting.
The program of the international gathering of students includes:
- Competition of innovative projects "INNOVATIVE PROJECTS: A LOOK INTO THE FUTURE".
- International scientific and practical conference of doctoral students, undergraduates and students: "Youth and science: a new vision and dialectic of development" under the auspices of scientific schools of Doctor of Economics, Professor Aimagambetov E.B., Doctor of Economics, Professor Alimbaev A.A., Doctor of Economics, Professor Lerner M.G.
The following young scientists acted as speakers at the plenary session of the conference:
- Yuliya Samofalova - Université Catholique de Louvain. Belgium;
- Medvedev Sergey Vladimirovich - member of the Youth Parliament at the Belgorod Regional Duma of the 1st convocation, adviser to the municipal service of the 3rd class, Master's student of the Department of Social Technologies and Public Service of the Institute of Economics and Management of the Belgorod State National Research University;
- Vladimir Pulikov - Chairman of the Joint Council of Students of the Kuban State Agrarian University, student of the Faculty of Law;
- Nikita Alekseenko - student of Saratov National Research State University named after N. G. Chernyshevsky;
- Kuznetsov Alexander Igorevich - Student of the Ufa University of Science and Technology;
- Anatoly A. Berezyuk - Student of the Faculty of Taxes, Audit and Business Analysis of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation;
- Justisova Alexandra Andreevna - student of the Kuzbass State Agricultural Academy;
- Sharma Tanisha - Medical University of Karaganda;
- Apbozova Arailym Kendebaykyzy - student of Kazakh Agrotechnical University named after Sakena Seifullina;

The issues discussed during the international scientific and practical conference are of particular relevance in the context of the implementation of the national project "Technological breakthrough through digitalization, science and innovation". Creating a diversified and technological economy, effective public administration and improving the quality of life of the population requires the training of highly qualified scientific personnel. In this regard, one of the important directions of the national project is "Strengthening the human potential of science - the scientist is in the center of attention". In the light of the implementation of the national project, the international gathering of students can become a constructive dialogue platform for the development of scientific ties between young scientists in order to exchange new knowledge aimed at increasing scientific potential in the era of digital transformation.
