Platinum lecture "Psychologist: new facets of the profession"
On April 27, 2023, the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz hosted a "platinum lecture" by the psychologist Gabdrakipova Natalia Vasilyevna of the MSE on PCV "Regional Mental Health Center" of the Health Department of the Karaganda region for students of the educational programs "Psychology and Management in Education" and "Social Work".
Meeting with a practicing psychologist is an important experience for students and an opportunity to learn new facets of the profession. During the lecture, students learned about the specifics of the work of a psychologist in a drug dispensary, methods of working with drug-dependent patients; social programs for the prevention and treatment of drug addiction; psychological practices of working with people with various types of addiction. Gabdrakipova N.V. answered numerous questions from students, including practical training. she gave exhaustive answers, and also acquainted students with the activities of the Student Polyclinic No. 1, where students can receive qualified medical care and psychological assistance.
