On the 30th of June the ethnographic fashion theatre of KEUK participated in the first international festival of Turkic people “Kóşpendiler álemi” (“Nomadic world”) in Astana city.
“Kóşpendiler álemi” plays an important role in reviving traditions, history, unity and spirit of nomadic heritage. Teams from Hungary, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Bashkortostan, Turkey and Kazakhstan arrived to the festival to present authentic culture of nomadic civilization. Our girls in unique and colourful attires left an indelible impression on the participants of the festival, mass media, «Qazaq Geography» and «Kazakh Tourism» companies, guests of the festival and the event organizers becoming the key decoration of the mega event.
«Designed by modern technologies with elements of national culture designer dresses of Kazakhstan beauties were able to capture the spirit of that time» they write about our outfits in the Kazakh media.
Delighted foreign and Kazakhstan quests were interested in history of creation and design of each suit presented at the festival and did not miss the opportunity to take a souvenir photo.
At the end of June 2018 Multilingual education centre held a seminar “Application and practice of CLIL methodology in teaching disciplines in English” for multilingual teachers. A large number of educational establishments currently have successfully implemented CLIL methodology. The teaching staff of KEUK gives certain lessons in English and therefore enables preparing not only specialists in definite professional areas, but also multilingual professionals. The basic issues on application of Content and Language Integrated Learning, its principals, aspects and advantages were discussed at the seminar. In practice, the methodology of teaching philosophy in English was clearly demonstrated.
At the end of 2017-2018 academic year, Multilingual education centre presented participants in the English language courses - teachers and employees of KEUK - with certificates of achievement of their language level and attendance. Considering that learning a language requires much time, patience, effort and persistence teachers and employees of KEUK achieved the finish line owing to their self-discipline and responsibility. Also, the Centre launched a marathon “The best participant” of the courses, and as a result 11 participants among teachers and staff were awarded certificates with honours. Multilingual education centre congratulates all the participants and look forward to seeing old and new ones in a new academic year.
PhD students in the specialties 6D050600 "Economics" and 6D050700 "Management" Spanova Bagdat, Shugaipova Zhanna and Kuttybay Miras have undergone a scientific internship at the University of Szent István (Gödöllö, Hungary).
PhD students attended seminars-trainings and scientific discussions of leading scientists and researchers. In particular, they attended lectures on the topics: Rural development infrastructure, Workshop on Value Analysis and Value Engineering, Sustainable Regional Development-Challenges of Space and Society in the 21st Century. Based on the results of the scientific training, bibliographic lists of scientific and methodological literature and other materials on the topic of dissertational research have been compiled.
PhD students of specialty 6D050600 "Economics" Bezler Oxana and Tulebayeva Aizhan have undergone a scientific internship at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski (Sofia, Bulgaria).
PhD students took part in the course of scientific discussions of leading scientists and researchers of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (Stapan) of Sofia University named after St. Kliment Ohridski - associate professor, PhD, dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sedlarski Teodor; professor, PhD Dimitar Stefanov; Associate Professor, PhD, Deputy Dean for International Relations, Head of the Department of Finance and Accounting Marcellina Jovogana; associate professor of the department of statistics and econometrics Borjana Bogdanova, associate professor Alida Rizova on the "Mechanisms of interaction of national labor markets of the new EU member states".
On June 23, 2018, the final monitoring of the Erasmus project + " Еstablishment of centers for competence and employability development" (COMPLETE) was held at the Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz.
On June 29-30, 2018 on the basis of Karaganda economic university of Kazpotrebsoyuz within memorandum with "Saryarka SEC" national company Hakakton has been carried out with main subjects "Safe city" and "Smart housing and public utilities". On the forum 24 projects have been submitted and were performed by their developers: students and young businessmen.
During two-day work of the Hackathon the winners who have received as prizes from 200 to 500 thousand tenges have been defined. Winners are:
1 place Temur Akhunzhanov from Almaty with "The clever on-door speakerphone" project;
2 place Victor Rudolf from Karaganda with "Union" project;
3 place Seydamet Suleymanov from Karaganda with "Smart quest" project.
Holding this action became one more contribution to integration of science and production, to maintenance of fruitful contacts between the university and "Saryarka SEC" national company and in formation of incentives for further joint productive work.
During the period from June 26 to June 29, a second stream of refresher courses was organized on the basis of the international CACTLE Center at the Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz on the topic: "Accredited Management Coach" in the framework of the Erasmus + program. During the seminar the participants were leading teachers. Based on the results of the seminar, the participants will be awarded certificates of the international standard of the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
During the period from June 18 to June 22, the third stream of refresher courses on the topic "Business Management and Taxation" in the direction of the CCC within the framework of the Erasmus + program was organized on the basis of the international CACTLE Center in Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz. During the seminar, the participants were 9 large entrepreneurs of the business environment of the Karaganda region. Based on the results of the seminar, the participants will be awarded certificates of the international standard of the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
In the period from June 11 to June 15, the second stream of refresher courses on the topic "Business management and taxation" in the direction of the CCC within the framework of the Erasmus + program was organized on the basis of the international CACTLE Center at the Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz. During the seminar, 28thparticipants from large entities of small and medium-sized businesses in the Karaganda region. Based on the results of the seminar, the participants will be awarded certificates of the international standard of the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
