October 3, 2019 in KEUK Department "Banking management and financial markets" organized a meeting with the head of the AIFC Alibaev N.S, with the participation of students majoring in "Finance".
The purpose of this event is to familiarize with the activities of the AIFC and cooperation with the organization.
Astana international financial center ( AIFC) is a financial hub for the countries of Central Asia, Transcaucasia, the EAEU, the Middle East, Western China, Mongolia and Europe. The AIFC will be located on the territory of EXPO-2017 and will use modern infrastructure and advanced technologies.
The main activities of the AIFC are capital market development, asset management, wealth management of wealthy individuals, Islamic Finance, new financial technologies.
Following the meeting, students received a lot of information about the AIFC asked questions and showed that they are ready for close cooperation with the organization.
The team of students «Eco-Life»of the Department «Ecology and assessment» took part in the city youth tournament «Student League: Cup of purity», which was held within the closing XV city labor season of youth labor groups «Zhasyl El».
For active participation the team of Karaganda economic University was awarded the Cup of purity for the 3rd place.
Ecological action «Eco hour» was held throughout the country. Students of groups: Eco 19-1-K and Eco 19-2 of the Department «Ecology and assessment» took an active part in the Republican campaign, visiting the event organized by KSU «Station of young naturalists».
The action «Eco hour» is held for the first time in the country on the initiative of the Ministry of ecology, Geology and natural resources. The purpose of the action – carrying out educational work with pupils and students, education of love to the nature and ecological education.
The result of visiting the event was the planting of seedlings by students at the station, which is a common contribution to the environmental development of the region of the country.
On October 2, 2019 at the faculty of Business and law in order to form and develop corporate culture, as well as adaptation of freshmen flash mob action "Gold day"was held. On this day, many first-year students came to the University in yellow clothes. According to the organizers, and they were activists of the student Council of the faculty, first-year students who want to participate in the social life of the University and curators of the first courses, this color energizes, uplifting and just pleasing to the eye.
At the big break, all participants gathered on the Playground and for 10 minutes demonstrated their abilities in modern dance.
The participants decided to launch an Internet challenge "if you can-repeat"in social networks. Everyone can post their videos, which will demonstrate their amazing abilities.
On October 1, 2019, a scientific seminar was held at the Faculty of Law with the participation of scientists from Kazakhstan, Doctor of Law, Professor Talgat Khanov and Doctor of Law, Professor Kairat Bakishev, on the topic “Problems of ensuring road safety in Russia and Kazakhstan Karaganda Economic University of Consumer Cooperatives presented the results of their research in the framework of a grant project, the purpose of which was to analyze the legislation in the field of criminal liability for transport crimes, to develop measures aimed at improving it. The seminar was attended by Dean of the Law Faculty of St. Petersburg State University of Economics Nadezhda Krainova, Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Oksana Chabukiani, teachers of the Department and students of the Faculty of Law. The participants in the discussion were able to discuss the common criminal law problems in this area in Russia and Kazakhstan, and outline ways to solve them.
As part of the celebration of the professional holiday of accountant's day on October 2, 2019, according to the plan of educational work of the Department "Accounting and audit", the game "My profession is an accountant"was held. Students of the Educational program "Accounting and audit"took part in the game.
The purpose of the event is the formation of sustainable interest in the future profession, understanding its essence and importance, as well as the development of professional interest in their specialty.
Teachers of the Department «Social work and Assembly of people of Kazakhstan» Nihambekova A. B., Badel A. B., Nurmukhanova N. T. in the hostel of the University held a meeting with students. The meeting was devoted to discussion of prospects of development of volunteer movement in KEU. Students got acquainted with the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan Tokayev K.-Zh.on the announcement of 2020 goal as the year of Volunteer in Kazakhstan, shared their vision of volunteer movement in KEU.
Volunteer activity in the student environment of the University is becoming more popular, students, including the specialty «Social work» voluntarily and gratuitously help the elderly, orphanages, specialized medical institutions and children – anyone who needs any help.
Every citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan should know and follow the procedure for the signal «Attention please!» transmitted by means of sirens or other signaling means, launched to attract the attention of the population in in case of a threat or emergency.
Having heard the signal «Attention please!», the population is obliged to turn on TVs, radios and other means of receiving information, carefully listen to the transmitted information and comply with the requirements step by step. The information transmitted can be of various nature: about the accident of a chemically dangerous object or railway transport, about the threat of chemical, radioactive contamination, about natural disasters, about the possible air danger and other emergencies threatening the life and health of people, as well as about the actions of the population in these emergencies.
The text of voice information will be transmitted in Kazakh and Russian languages. In places where due to the distance there is no sound of sirens and no loudspeakers of central radio broadcasting, the signal «Attention please!» and voice information will be transmitted by special cars equipped with a signal-speaker. Inform relatives, friends, neighbors - they may not have heard the information being transmitted. Stop any public panic and spreading of rumors immediately.

The purpose of the round table-is the interest and involvement in the R & d of 1st year students, which will provide an opportunity for each student to realize their right to creative development of the individual, participation in research.
As part of the discipline "Museology" Department of tourism and restaurant business held a visiting class in the Karaganda Regional Museum of local history for the group Tour-18-1K . During the tour, the students introduced with the main exhibits of the Museum, with the history of the region. Expositions tell about archaeological finds, about the beginning of coal mining, about the traditions and customs of the Kazakh people. Students learned about the intricacies of working in the Museum and the duties of the guide.
