Round Table Talk on "Theory and methodology of preventive work on achievement of zero tolerance for religion related radical and extremist manifestations in the youth environment".
On February 23, 2018 the Department of Social Work and the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan held an inter-university round table talk on "Theory and methodology of preventive work on achievement of zero tolerance for religion related radical and extremist manifestations in the youth environment".
Representatives of all universities of the Karaganda region, leading religious scholars of the region, representatives of state authority, NGOs, students and teachers of the KEU, as well as the media participated in the round table.
The participants were especially interested in the reports of Trofimov, Y.F. - the religious scholar, professor of "Bolashak" Academy PI, Tasmaganbetova, A. T. - the head of the department for public events organization and work with the ANC structures of the apparatus of the Akim of the Karaganda region, Zhanabaeva, K.B. a specialist in “Victoria” rehabilitation center for the victims of the destructive religious splinter groups, etc.
Due to the certain relevance of the stated topic the round table talk participants held a lively discussion by the end of which a resolution of the Round Table talk was adopted.
