Celebrate Customs Day

Annually held on December 12, Customs Day recognizes the role of custom officials and agencies in maintaining border security. This year, the customs authorities of the country celebrated 25 years. Department of general legal and special disciplines organized a trip to the Department of State Revenue of the Karaganda region for the students of specialty "Customs" and the College of Business, Economics and Law. Students with lecturers Syzdykova S.A. and Shatirishvili N.T. visited the Customs Clearance Center. The head of one of the DSR units Akbeev M.K. said about the activities of the customs service. In the 25 years of the customs authorities of Kazakhstan have come a long way of development: the number of customs officers increased, improved technical support of department.

On the 13th of December 2016 the department of "Accounting and audit" conducted a master class for students 3 and 4 courses of a specialty "Accounting and Auditing" on theme: "Accounting of foreign economic activity" with the participation of the Director of LLP "TabysAuditKonsalting" Underis E. Students learned features of accounting at the Eurasian Economic Union.

Seminar within the framework of the EU project Erasmus + CACTLE «Central Asian Center for Teaching, Learning and Entrepreneurship"

As part of the EU Erasmus + Karaganda Economic University Kazpotrebsoyuz together with 8 universities in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan constitutes a Central Asian center of teaching, learning and entrepreneurship (CentralAsiancenterforteaching, learningandentrepreneurship CACTLE).
From KEUK selected 3 CACTLE coach: Ph.D., Associate Professor Kenzhebekov N., Ph.D., Associate Professor N. Ulak, senior lecturer E. Syzdybekov
From 4 to 11 December was another CACTLE meeting at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Vienna, Austria).
Within the framework of this meeting courses improving the teaching competence of university teachers were continued.
According to the results of annual courses KEUK coach will be certified by the Vienna University of Economics as a CACTLE coach.

An accountant – the profession of the centuries and perspective.

On the 10th of December in the framework of proforientational work the Day of Open Doors “An accountant – the profession of the centuries and perspective” for the H-grade students and graduate students of college of profile specialities in Karaganda was conducted by the chair of “An accounting and audit”.
The students of H-grade of Karaganda schools took part in the day of open doors.
Students knew a lot of new information according to the speciality “Accounting and audit”, met the university, that has all necessary things for getting professional knowledge, took part in questionnaire: “Who wants to be an accountant”.
