Seven years of trust and recognition of quality!

Our university has taken an important step in its development, confirming its status as one of the leaders in the field of education. On December 21, 2024, by the decision of the Accreditation Council of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA), we received institutional accreditation for the maximum possible period of 7 years.

This accreditation is not just a formality. This is the result of the hard work of the entire university staff, starting from the faculty and ending with the administration staff. We are proud of the high level of trust in our university, which was made possible by the teamwork and perseverance in achieving our goals.

Seven years is a symbolic period that confirms that our educational programs meet the highest quality standards. We strive not only to maintain this level, but also to continue moving forward in order to offer students even more opportunities for development and professional growth.

We would like to thank the students, teachers and all the staff, whose support and faith in the common cause made this success possible. There are new horizons and ambitious goals ahead, which we will definitely achieve!

We are proud of our common victory and continue to work to ensure that our university remains a place where future professionals are trained, capable of solving the most complex tasks of the modern world.

On December 18, 2024, the international scientific and practical conference “Science through the Eyes of Youth” took place in Astana, organized by the National Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research. The conference brought together over 100 participants from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Tajikistan, and other countries, becoming a significant event for young researchers.

Among the participants, students from the "International Relations" educational program at our university showcased outstanding performance:

As part of the conference, the award ceremony for the winners of the international competition "Best Student of the Year 2024" also took place. Our students demonstrated profound knowledge and high professionalism, earning well-deserved recognition. We express our gratitude to their academic supervisor, Zh.M. Zhangabulova, master’s degree holder and senior lecturer at the Department of World Economy and International Relations, for her preparation and support of the participants on their journey to success. Annual startup project contest «DEMO DAY IV»

On December 12, 2024, the Research Institute of Economic and Legal Studies of the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz held the annual Competition of innovative student projects «Demo Day IV». University students presented their projects in the field of information technology, social entrepreneurship, etc.
The projects met all the requirements such as the novelty of the business idea, the clarity of the task statement, the quality of marketing research and financial and economic calculations, the validity of risk assessment, the level of use of software products for the preparation of a business plan.
As a result of the commission's decision, the winners and prize-winners of «Demo Day IV» were awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts.
We sincerely congratulate all participants of the contest, their managers and wish them further success in further promotion of innovative projects.

Our teachers are practitioners at the center for business initiatives

The Akimat of the Karaganda region hosted a meeting of representatives of business and government agencies of the Karaganda, Akmola, Pavlodar, Ulytau regions, as well as the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan K.I. Nurov.
Among the participants was Chirkova Elena Nikolaevna, a lawyer of the Karaganda Regional Bar Association and a senior lecturer at the Department of Legal Regulation of Economic Relations of the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz.
The following issues were discussed during the event:
- The strategy of the Business Ombudsman for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs in Kazakhstan.
- Strengthening the legal protection of business from illegal actions of government agencies.
- Reduction of administrative barriers to the development of entrepreneurship.
- Reducing business dependence on government orders, subsidies and other government support measures.
- Creating favorable conditions for the sustainable and independent development of entrepreneurial activity.
The event promoted a constructive dialogue between business, government agencies and the expert community aimed at developing entrepreneurship and improving the business environment. A question-and-answer session was also held, where participants discussed current problems and possible solutions.
The participation of our teachers-practitioners in such events underlines their involvement in professional activities and their desire to strengthen the links between education and the real sector of the economy.

On December 13, 2024, the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz hosted an international scientific and theoretical conference on the topic "Integration of science and education in the context of innovative development and its contribution to improving the overall anti-corruption culture of youth", dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The large-scale event brought together representatives of leading universities in Kazakhstan and Russia, scientists, experts and practitioners who discussed topical issues of anti-corruption education and the role of science and education in this process.

Sergey Nikolaevich Perov, Head of the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Anti-Corruption Service) in the Karaganda region, became the guest of honor at the conference. In his speech, he stressed the importance of education and the formation of a high anti-corruption culture among young people as a basis for the sustainable development of society and the state.
