On October 30, 2019, the senior lecturer, Iskalieva M.S., conducted a platinum lecture for students of the Customs business educational program with the participation of the head of the Department of Customs Administration of the State Revenue Department, Akbiev M.K. on the topic: “Electronic declaration”. Students took this meeting with great interest, meeting with a practitioner of the state revenue system. Akbiev M.K. answered numerous questions of students, and also noted the high level of training of KEU students in the specialty "Customs", which show their professionalism not only in practice, but also as employees of the Department of Customs Administration.
On October 31, 2019, the Department of Accounting and Audit organized a visit to the Kulynshak Orphanage. Senior Lecturer, Department of Accounting and Auditing, Master G.T. Khasenova, with students of the curated group UA-31k, having bought toys and yummies, prepared interesting, entertaining games and musical numbers for children. At first, the children carefully watched and studied the guests, and then, realizing that the students were children like them, they began to actively participate in the games. Both students and children-pupils of the orphanage received a huge charge of positive energy and said goodbye reluctantly. Students promised the children to come again !!!
The annual language contest of foreign languages (English, Kazakh, Russian) among students of schools and colleges of Karaganda city was held by the Chair of Russian and Foreign languages. 60 students took part in the contest, 14 schools of Karaganda, Temirtau and Zhezkazgan applied. There were 2 parts of the language contest: testing and presentation in 3 languages. The winners were awarded with diplomas.

Also, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor Aubakirova G.T. conducted the seminar for school teachers: "Differentiated approach in different-level groups in English lessons." All participants were awarded with certificates.
On October 30, 2019, students of the Department of merchandising and certification Galymov Daryn (TPP-19-3sk), Akhmetova Arailym (TPP-18-1K), Serikova Meruert (TPP-19-1K) won the competition at the XIX International student festival of culinary arts and serving "Golden autumn" in the category "for high culinary quality, original design and artistry in the presentation of dishes" (Belgorod University of cooperation, Economics and law, Belgorod, Russia). Congratulations to our winners!
Karaganda economic University on October 31, 2019 held a meeting with students of all graduating groups in 2020 with representatives of the program "Zhas Orken" - ualieva Adina Timurovna-coordinator of the program "Zhas Orken" and Omarova Asel Zhanbyrshykyzy- SMM manager. During the meeting, the graduates were told about the program as a whole , about the great opportunities that this program opens. They were informed about geographical mobility, which is one of the criteria of the winners of the competition, about the timing, how the participants are eliminated, how and when to apply. Students actively asked their questions. Representatives organized mini-quizzes and tasks on attentiveness and awareness. We hope that the students of our University will take part in the competitive selection.
