Capacity-building for project staff

To improve skills and knowledge of the Module subject, as well as to ensure interaction of the Jean Monnet program projects, the working group of the Module took part in the work of international distance schools organized in the framework of the Jean Monnet Chair “European Diplomacy” at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan):
- “Relevant Issues of European Integration and Diplomacy”, April 15-30, 2019 (72 hours);
- “European Diplomacy and Human Rights”, October 1-15, 2020 (72 hours).

Professional activity in academic field implies constant skills and knowledge development. Promoting and disseminating the interest in European studies, the project working group is currently getting/upgrading their degrees:
1. Dinara Atabayeva, a PhD student at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan). Research topic: European Union in the context of the migration crisis: challenges, risks, opportunities.
2. Yelena Shukusheva, a postgraduate student at the Ural Federal University named after the First President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin (Yekaterinburg, Russia). Research topic: implementation of the EU educational projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
