Having heard the signal «Attention please!», the population is obliged to turn on TVs, radios and other means of receiving information, carefully listen to the transmitted information and comply with the requirements step by step. The information transmitted can be of various nature: about the accident of a chemically dangerous object or railway transport, about the threat of chemical, radioactive contamination, about natural disasters, about the possible air danger and other emergencies threatening the life and health of people, as well as about the actions of the population in these emergencies.
The text of voice information will be transmitted in Kazakh and Russian languages. In places where due to the distance there is no sound of sirens and no loudspeakers of central radio broadcasting, the signal «Attention please!» and voice information will be transmitted by special cars equipped with a signal-speaker. Inform relatives, friends, neighbors - they may not have heard the information being transmitted. Stop any public panic and spreading of rumors immediately.
There are a lot of ice blocks and snow on the roofs with the onset of spring. They can slide off the roof and cause serious injury to people. In this regard, timely and comprehensive measures should be taken to bring the eaves of the roofs to a safe condition. If it is impossible to carry out such work, it is necessary to protect dangerous areas above the pedestrian zone with signal tapes, install warning signs and tablets. The course on achieving the Sustainable Develop-ment Goals was developed within the framework of the Erasmus+ Jean Mon-net Module program and offered students a deep understanding of the princi-ples of sustainable development and its implementation in Europe. From February 6 to May 21, 2023, the course participants had a unique opportunity to study the best practices of sustainable development manage-ment in Europe and apply it to modern challenges and opportunities facing our region. The students who completed their studies acquired in-depth knowledge in the field of economic and environmental aspects of sustainable development, familiarized themselves with advanced technologies and management tech-niques used in Europe, and gained skills in analyzing and evaluating socio-economic projects aimed at achieving sustainable development goals. On March 28, the 11th International Week “Academy of International Lecturers – Contemporary Trends in Applied Sciences” began at the partner university of Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz – Kodolányi János University of Applied Sciences (Budapest, Hungary). The purpose of the event is to gain intercultural experience, share knowledge among students, faculty, strengthen partnerships. Lecturers of our university honorably represented the university by taking part in the sections of the scientific and practical conference «Global Englishes “Seizing the Day”: Current Research in Global Englishes», workshops, such as: «Developing a Green Economy Module for Higher Education Business Studies», «Smart Services in Higher Education» and «Covid-19 and the Digitalization of HE».
