We are pleased to present the results of the 2024 ranking of the National Agency for Educational Quality Assessment (NAOKO). Our university has shown significant achievements in various educational programs at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels.
From October 4th of 2023 to June 28th of 2024, the Multilingual Education Centre at Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz organized courses of State and Foreign Languages for university and college students, catering to various proficiency levels. Certificates were awarded to participants for successfully completing their respective levels, ranging from Beginner to Intermediate. The course participants have put in tremendous effort and acquired new skills in learning State and Foreign Languages. These achievements are a vivid testament to their perseverance, hard work, and dedication to self-improvement.
Multilingual Education Centre thanks all its participants for their efforts and patience, congratulates them on the successful completion of courses of the Kazakh, English, Chinese, and German Languages, and wishes them success in their future endeavors!
Annually, the Multilingual Education Centre conducts language courses and eagerly anticipates welcoming new participants in the upcoming academic year!
On June 19 and 24, 2024, the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz hosted a meeting of the Commission on the personal distribution of university graduates studying under the state educational order, under the leadership of the rector of the University E.B. Aimagambetov. Graduates, deans of faculties, heads of departments, heads of structural divisions of the university took part in the work of the commission on personal distribution.
At the meeting, proposals on the distribution of our future specialists in key areas were discussed and approved. The Commission took into account both the academic achievements of the students and their professional interests so that everyone could start their professional career with maximum comfort and prospects.
In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education", graduates of bachelor's and master's degree programs studying under the state educational order must work at enterprises of various forms of ownership for at least 3 years, graduates of the doctoral level in higher educational institutions, research institutes, niches.
Today, most of the grant graduates have a job, the rest plan to continue their studies at the next degree of education or start working after a summer vacation.
We are proud of our graduates and confident in their abilities and prospects. This is an important step in their lives, and we will support everyone in their endeavors at a new stage. Congratulations to everyone who took part in this meeting, and thank you for your participation and responsibility.
On June 24, 2024, employees of the Career and Professional Development Center of our university took part in an event organized by the Center for Labor Mobility in the Karaganda region. The round table actively discussed key issues of employment of young people who have lost or remained without parental care until adulthood. It was a great opportunity to share experiences, listen to expert opinions and contribute to the development of graduates' career prospects.
This is an important initiative aimed at supporting young people in difficult life situations. The round table discussed mechanisms of integration into society, educational and employment opportunities, as well as support from government and public organizations.
The Center for Labor Mobility in the Karaganda region presented the following programs to the participants of the round table:
"Youth practice" - work to gain initial professional experience;
The Generational Contract is a workplace that is created to transfer accumulated experience from existing employees of pre–retirement age to graduates of colleges and universities.
"First workplace" is a job for gaining experience at the first workplace for young people without professional education
"Community service" is a socially useful job that does not require professional education for schoolchildren and students over the age of 16 during the holidays
We are confident that such events contribute to the formation of a successful career for our students, help them find the best options for professional development. We thank the Career Center for the initiative and the opportunity for our employees to contribute to the training of future leaders!
On June 18, 2024, coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan Laura Paluanova visited the Kazpotrebsoyuz University.
In the framework of the visit there was a meeting with the top management of the university. In addition, Laura Paluanova held an information session for the faculty members of the university. During the session participants discussed recommendations for preparing competitive project applications and implementing existing projects within the Erasmus+ program.
It is worth noting that Kazpotrebsoyuz University is a leading HEI in Kazakhstan for successful Jean Monnet project applications. Currently, among ongoing international projects there are Jean Monnet Module “European practice of sustainable development management towards green transformation” (EPOS), Jean Monnet Module “The European Union migration policy” (EUMP), and Jean Monnet Module “Modern eco-technologies of sustainable development: the experience of the EU and Kazakhstan” (METOD). In addition, we participate in the implementation of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education projects “Development of a Master Programme in the Management of Industrial Entrepreneurship for Transition Countries” (MIETC) and “Development of Innovative Curricula and Modules in Circular Economy and Sustainable Development” (CirculEC).
