Independence Day is celebrated around the world as one of the most important holidays, symbolizing the foundation of statehood. For Kazakhstan, Independence Day went down in history as the personification of the idea of state sovereignty. The momentousness of this day is that it strengthens the feeling of unity of the people of Kazakhstan. Every year in December, according to good tradition, the entire multinational people of Kazakhstan solemnly celebrate this main holiday. Thus, on December 6, 2018, students of the MO-32 group held a quiz dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The quiz was attended by students of the 1st course of the specialty "International Relations" and "World Economy". According to the results of the quiz, the third place was taken by the group ME-12, the second place - MO-12 and the first place - MO-11k. This event contributed to the cultivation of students' patriotism, the development of a respectful attitude towards the state, the formation of a positive attitude towards the customs and traditions of the people, and the development of a sense of belonging to the fate of the Fatherland.
On December 6, 2018, a meeting with potential employers for university students was held in Karaganda Economic University Kazpotrebsoyuz. Representatives of large industrial companies arrived in order to inform students about practical experience and continued employability. The meeting provided an opportunity for students to learn in detail about the activities and requirements of companies, to familiarize themselves with internship programs and internships. Also, students had the opportunity to get acquainted with projects that allow them to properly conduct an interview, and possess the necessary skills for successful employment. Representatives of organizations of “EFES Kazakhstan” JSC (Almaty) M. Sergazina and “BNK Energy” LLP (Ekibastuz) A. Sarsenov, S. Mustafayev informed about the possibility of continued employability for trainees and interns from the positive side. Specialists also presented information that contributes to employment and development of professional skills among students. Students listened with interest to invited employers, had the opportunity to get answers to all questions and received booklets, leaflets and small gifts from companies.
December 6, 2018 held a round table dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which was attended by students and teachers of the University. At the round table it was discussed that the independence day of Kazakhstan is the main national holiday in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is celebrated in Kazakhstan annually on December 16 - December 17. With the collapse of the USSR in 1991, the Union countries became a separate state. Among them was Kazakhstan. On December 16, 1991 the Supreme Council of Kazakhstan adopted the law "On independence and sovereignty of the state". Kazakhstan was the last among the countries of the USSR, which adopted the law on independence. This law, together with the Declaration of sovereignty of Kazakhstan adopted on October 25, 1990, strengthened the country of the Kazakh nation. Official recognition of Kazakhstan's independence was recognized by the United States of America, which was the first country overseas, followed by China, followed by the United Kingdom. This was recognized by Mongolia, France, Japan, South Korea, Iran and other States. It was also noted that for 27 years in independent Kazakhstan economic and political reforms were carried out, which significantly increased the authority of the Republic in the international arena. Kazakhstan is a member of international and regional organizations, known as a reliable partner of both Western and Eastern States.
