On February 25, 2022, the Department of "Tourism and Restaurant Business" of the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz held an Olympiad in following specialties "Restaurant and hotel business", "Tourism" among students of grades 10-11 of the city of Karaganda. On February 23, 2022c, the SPD-21-6s group held a round table on the topic "Extremism and Terrorism" under the leadership of Art. Teacher Iskalieva M.S. The round table discussed the commitment of certain organizations, groups and individuals to extreme measures, positions, views on social activities, most often these phenomena are nothing more than extremism. Presentations were made by students Vasilkov A. «Terrorism and extremism, their causes and influence on society», Milovanova V., Grinyuk A. «Extremism and terrorism. Basic concepts and causes of occurrence», Andrienko V. «Extremism and terrorism». Students performed at a high level, were active and interested.
On February 23, in order to prevent stress resistance and personal growth, a lecture-training "Emotional Intelligence" by psychologist Temirkhanova G.U. was held for curators of study groups. Before the lecture, she reported on the relevance of the topic and the purpose of the training. Showed slides, dwelling on each of them in detail. She spoke about the functions of emotional intelligence (EQ), components and ways of its development, about the effective development of communication with students. Emphasized the importance of creating a positive psycho-emotional mood of the curator of the group. At the end of the presentation, the curators of the groups asked questions on this topic. Questions about motivation, personal growth, the relationship of students were discussed.

The chair of Russian and Foreign languages held an online intellectual project "Experts of languages" among school – graduates of 11 grade city schools of Karaganda. Twenty-three students took part in this project. The projects were presented in Kazakh, Russian and English languages. The participants were awarded with diplomas.
