On Friday 04/17/2020 as part of the week of Kazakhstani science, associate professor KEUK Ulybyshev D.N. and expert of the DMC SRW KEUK Puntus E.A. An online seminar was held on the issues of scientific publications of teaching staff of the University of Economics and Economics in rating journals of international scientometric databases. The seminar was attended by teachers, staff, undergraduates and doctoral students of KEUK.

On April 17, 2020, the Тechnological business incubator "Сoworking center Dostyk" together with the center for Мonitoring and development of research works held the 2nd stage оf the Сompetition of ready-made business projects and start-up projects and designed business ideas of students of the Karaganda economic University "INNOVATIVE PROJECTS: a LOOK into the FUTURE" on the "Zoom"platform. 6 projects out of 22 were admitted to preliminary protection: «Obtaining Assembly material from organic and inorganic residues» (Karlova Meruert Tour-19-1k), «EcoTile» (Legostayeva Yelena Sergeyevna, Krikunova Anastasiya Pavlovna, Shayazdanova Aleksandra Aleksandrovna), «Qosh keldin» Ethno-tour along the sacred edges of Ulytau (Sharіpova Sanіm Tour-18-1k), «Coffee plus+» (Ashimova Fatima, Persteneva Snezhana, Volkov Nikita), « Development of a mobile application for managing dairy machines » (Amanbek Aigul Is-18-1sk), «Gold handles» (Galymova N.S. Ua-18-1 k). After the performance of the startups, a discussion took place, specific recommendations were given. Based on the results of preliminary defense, it was decided to recommend projects for defense in the final.
On April 17, 2020, KEUK library staff conducted an online training seminar “Electronic International Resources”. The seminar was devoted to the methods of efficient use of databases (Scopus, RMEB, SpringerLink, Web of Science, eLibrary, Kazneb, EBSCOhost), to determine areas of scientific research, search and analysis of world scientific data. The electronic library system “IPRbooks” and the possibilities of its use were demonstrated. The capabilities of the "Passport" platform were considered; what can be find by user for scientific work and how to conduct an industry review and analysis of companies in the "Passport" platform. The online workshop was attended by college teachers and graduate students.
On April 15-16, as part of career guidance, the Department of Postgraduate Education held an online meeting with graduates of the 2019-2020 academic year with the faculties: 1. finance, logistics and digital technology (FFLiTST) 2. Economics, management and entrepreneurship (FEUiP) 3. Business, Law and Technology (FBPiT) Along with this, the department noted the main issues regarding admission to the magistracy of KEUK.
