In December 2022, the XIV International Scientific and Practical Conference "December Readings in Memory of S.B. Barngolts (2022)" on the topic "Corporate reporting: expanding the boundaries of accounting and control and analytical tools" was held in Moscow, Russian Federation.
The organizer of the conference is the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
Our university presented the students of the educational program "Accounting and Audit" of the group UA-19-2, studying on a state educational grant, Amina Berdybaeva and Christina Bondarenko.
Students made a presentation on the topic: “Features of reporting in accordance with IFRS in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the context of digitalization” (supervisor Doctor of Economics, Professor Berezyuk V.I.) in the section for bachelors “Corporate reporting: problems of formation, disclosure and verification of information”.
According to the results of the conference, students took the 3rd place of honor!

January 12, 2023 Professor of the Department, PhD "General legal and special disciplines" Karzhasova G.B. in order to involve young people in science, she held a scientific seminar on the topic: "Features and requirements for writing a scientific project." Young university teachers took part in the seminar. The main goal of this scientific seminar is to develop teachers' competencies and research skills in the process of preparing a scientific project. Speaker Karzhasova G. B. demonstrated all the necessary information for submitting a grant project, explained the application process, young teachers showed interest and expressed their desire to participate in scientific projects.
On October 26, 2022, the XIV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Modern Economy: Theoretical and Practical Approaches" was held in the city of Ufa, Russian Federation, held as part of the International Scientific Forum "Economy, Finance and Business in the Digital World".

From December 10 to December 25, 2022, the head of the Department of Accounting and Auditing, Doctor of Economics V.I. Berezyuk visited the Financial University (Moscow) within the framework of the “Visiting Professor” program to give lectures and conduct seminars to undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty of Taxes, Audit and Business Analysis.
The visit of V.I. Berezyuk contributed to the expansion and deepening of further mutual cooperation between our universities and allowed us to create a solid foundation for successful development and achievement of new heights in the scientific and educational process.
On January 12, 2023, a meeting was held at the university with the head of the State Revenue Department for the Ulytau region of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Orynov Galymzhan Kaldykozovich, during which the parties signed a memorandum. The main purpose of the Memorandum is to attract students to practice in the state revenue bodies, to consult on employment.
During the meeting, the Rector of the university said that the main stage of cooperation in terms of practical training is industrial practice, mandatory for both undergraduate and graduate students. That is why the University provides students with places of internship and employment, interacting with diverse commercial, non-profit, as well as government agencies. To create favorable conditions for students and potential employers throughout the year, the university holds Career Days, events dedicated to presentations of various companies and speeches by their representatives.
In turn, G.K. Orynov stressed that the main task of the Department is to ensure the economic security of the state, the legitimate rights and interests of business entities, society and the state, and the implementation of strategies and programs that ensure the formation of state policy to identify and investigate crimes in the field of economic activity, as well as countering the "shadow" economy. In this regard, in order to increase the level of knowledge of students and undergraduates of the University in the field of taxation and customs, permanent working groups will be organized, seminar-meetings, round tables, information and explanatory events will be held.
The event ended with the solemn signing of the memorandum. The parties expressed confidence in building up contacts on all lines of cooperation.
In winter, the potential danger of emergencies is especially high. Our Karaganda region with its sharply continental climate is no exception. All winter with its frosts ahead. Therefore, we must be constantly prepared for new trials that the coming winter may bring us.
Neglecting the rules of safe behavior in any situation and not paying attention to constant warnings is knowingly pushing yourself to death. But our citizens are constantly being warned about the consequences of reckless behavior. And apparently the experience of one person in trouble does not always become an example for others.
There are several general simple rules that should be followed when going on the road in winter:
- try to follow the weather changes by listening to weather reports or observing the surrounding nature;
- do not neglect excess clothing;
- do not lay new roads, do not cut corners;
- do not travel in unfamiliar areas at dusk;
- try not to walk alone;
- in cold weather, especially with strong winds, constantly monitor your condition, avoiding general or local hypothermia;
- warm up frozen limbs in all available ways.
Be prepared for the weather to worsen and the road to skid.
Clothing should not hinder movement.
Shoes should be loose in any case.

Psychologists celebrate their professional holiday in Kazakhstan on December 25. The profession of a psychologist, which is actively developing and in demand in our society, is designed to help a person find their own resources in solving vital problems. In September 2021, the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz began training students in the educational program "Psychology and management in education". Today, more than a hundred students are studying at our university - future psychologists. Among them are excellent students, activists, athletes - talented and creative youth.
Scientific, educational, social achievements of students are the result of active and fruitful work of the Department of Psychology, Pedagogy and Social Work and the entire teaching staff of the university. As part of the celebration of the Psychologist's Day, 2nd year students of the PiMO-21-2 group prepared and conducted a quiz for first–year students at an open curatorial hour "Psychology is interesting!"
