Modern education in the context of digitalization.

On November 16, 2020, the Department of Social Work and the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan held a round table on the topic "Modern education in the context of digitalization." The digitalization trend was identified by the roundtable participants as a key development vector in almost all areas of activity. The problems and difficulties of the digitalization process in the educational sphere of Kazakhstan were voiced in the speeches of T. Baltashova, student of group MO-19-1k, Smailova A., students of group MO-19-2, Rozhkov K., student of group F-19-2, Pronina O., student of group TUR-19-2. Summing up the results of the work, the organizers of the round table are Candidate of Philosophy, Professor M.V. Klishina, Candidate of Philosophy, Associate Professor G.R. Seifullina, PhD, Senior Lecturer N.E. Tutinova noted that the digitalization trend is giving rise to a new paradigm of education based on an innovative technological platform, the demands of the labor market and society as a whole.

On November 11, 2020, the Institute of Economics, Finance and business of BashSU successfully hosted an international event that has already become a tradition–the XII scientific and practical conference "Modern Economics: theoretical and practical approaches", organized by the Department of General economic theory of inefb BashSU together with the Center for strategic and interdisciplinary research of the Ufa Federal research center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. This year, for well-known reasons, the conference was completely held in a remote format online on the Zoom platform.
The importance of the international status of this conference is evidenced by the fact that every year an increasing number of students, undergraduates, postgraduates and young scientists from educational institutions of the States in the EurAsEC, SCO and other countries join the circle of active full-time, part-time and online participants. Thus, representatives of the Financial and economic Institute of Tajikistan (Dushanbe) and the Eastern University took an active part in the past scientific and practical conferences "Modern economy: theoretical and practical approaches". Mahmuda Kashgari-barskani (g. Bishkek, Republic of Kyrgyzstan), who spoke during the plenary session via videoconference. For the third year in a row, international online participants of this conference were representatives of the Karaganda economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz (Karaganda, Republic of Kazakhstan). In addition, the participants of the event included young researchers from Karaganda industrial University (Temirtau, Republic of Kazakhstan), as well as representatives of China, Italy, and the United States. Expanding the geography of participants from research and educational centers in various countries fully corresponds to the priority areas of BashSU's activities in terms of establishing and developing international relations.
Then the participants of the event were welcomed by young scientists from the Republic of Kazakhstan under the leadership of the international member of the conference organizing Committee Saule Kaliyevna Mazhitova, candidate of economic Sciences, associate Professor, head of the Department. Department of marketing and logistics of the Karaganda economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz (KEUK), as well as Zoya Salihovna Gelmanova, candidate of economic Sciences, Professor of the Department of Economics and business of the Karaganda industrial University.
As a result of the conference, a 2nd-year student of OP "logistics" took 1st place. 2nd place was shared by students of 2,3 and 4 courses: Yana Skorodumova, Anastasia Zubova, Aida Eslyam, Herman Romanov.

On 11.11.2020, the Department of «Accounting and audit» held an open curatorial hour on the topic «How did the pandemic affect the economy of Kazakhstan?» according to the plan of the open curatorial hour and the anti-crisis plan for educational work.»
The purpose of the curatorial hour: to reveal the question «What is the situation of the Kazakh economy today and what problems and difficulties have arisen as a result of the pandemic?»
To disclose these issues, students of the UA-42 group prepared and presented reports and presentations, where they considered the information not only within the Republic of Kazakhstan, but also compared it with other countries such as the United Kingdom, China, Turkey, Germany and Russia.
