On November 7-8, 2019, the National Office of the Erasmus+ Program in Kazakhstan organized the Erasmus+ Information Day, which was held within the walls of the Almaty Technological University. The purpose of the event was to familiarize the participants with the requirements and innovations of the Erasmus+ program and national and regional priorities, as well as to give practical recommendations for the development of project applications and implementation of the projects. Practical recommendations and advice on the participation and implementation of the project within the framework of the program of Jean Monnet, given by the senior lecturer of the Department of World Economy and International Relations and project coordinator Dinara Atabayeva, received positive feedback from the participants of the Information Day.
On November 7, an online conference was held, held by Bashkir State University in conjunction with the Department of Marketing and Logistics of the Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz. During the broadcast, topical issues on the organization of interdisciplinary research, macroeconomic problems of the modern economy were discussed. Following the results of the conference, a collection will be compiled, including with the works of students from Kazakhstan.
On October 16, 2019, the Department of Marketing and Logistics held the annual International (Cathedral) student conference “Forum of Young Researchers”, which was attended by students and undergraduates from Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Kokshetau, Almaty, Temirtau, Astana, Taraz, Karaganda. Based on the materials of the conference, an electronic collection has been formed. According to the results of the student conference, the winners were: 1st place - Anastasia Zubova, KEUK; Abkhalimova Laysan, BashSU 2nd place –Rakhtaeva Indira, KEUK; Kasymkhan Didar and Urman Sagynysh, KEUK; 3rd place - Gayvoronsky Vladislav, KEUK; Eslyam Aida, KEUK; Kladko Maxim, KEUK.
The Department of «Social work and Assembly of people of Kazakhstan» held an international scientific and practical seminar «Trends of modern education as a strategic resource of socio-economic, political, legal and spiritual development of society». The international seminar was attended by heads and employees of government agencies, NGOs, NGOs, domestic and foreign scientific and pedagogical workers, doctoral students, undergraduates and students. Considerable attention was paid to the discussion of the state, problems and prospects of development of inclusive education, practice-oriented approach to education, implementation of competency-based approach in the conditions of digitalization of education, Megatrends in the development of modern higher education. The participants of the seminar unanimously expressed the opinion that education will become an effective factor of economic and social development of society only through the appeal to the person, his spiritual world and creative potential.
In our University active students 1 and 2 courses of the faculty of Economics and management organized a charity fair aimed at raising funds for gifts to children from the orphanage "Tansholpan". The fair was very fruitful and brought revenue of 30,000 tenge. Also in the course of this event, 1st year students were awarded for their activity.
