Intensive english courses to prepare for master's studies

From June 15-ер to July 22-nd, 2023, intensive English courses were held at Multilingual Education Center of Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz for those people who are going to continue their education after finishing university. Two groups of participants were formed: offline group (on the basis of the university) and online group using an electronic platform and electronic resources, which is very convenient for people from different regions. During the 72-hour course students have analyzed the main lexical and grammatical topics, have solved tests of previous years, have consolidated the material they had previously studied, have listened to a variety of audios and have solved tests for understanding, and there were a lot of reading every day.
The material and technical base of the university, qualified specialists, a printing office that meets the modern requirements of the time and all the services of the university made it possible to organize an English course for incoming graduates of the University and outside participants in right time and efficient manner. A language lab, modern means of communication and electronic sensory boards, handouts, an individual approach, course completion certificates are the main components of success.

"Summer University 2023" UrFU (Yekaterinburg, Russia)

At the invitation of our partners, the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin, 9 students of Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz (Yertysbayeva A.A., gr. TPP-22-1k, Kaikenova R.K., gr. S-22-1k, Lysenko N.A., gr. S-20-2, Mynbaeva A.K., gr. SSM-21-1 skz, Mikitin V.I., gr. TPP-20-3, Mergasimov D.Ch., gr. IS-21-3sk, Spanova D.E., gr. IS-21-2, Kapasov D.T. and Starostina M.V., gr. ITA-21-2) took part in the federal project "Summer University 2023" from July 10 to 23, organized at the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
The main goal of the project is to immerse foreign students in the Russian scientific and educational space and create sustainable international student communities on the basis of leading Russian universities.
The Summer University program consists of educational, project and cultural blocks. The educational block includes 8 industry programs in the following areas: civil engineering, mechanical engineering, laboratory of digital transformation and social design, Russian language and culture, machine learning in the power industry, IT innovation in business. As part of the project block, students will defend joint projects in front of experts. The program is also full of cultural events, an excursion program around the university and the city, various master classes and concert programs.
Participation in the project for students is free, including transfer, accommodation, meals, training and a cultural program.

Acceptance of documents for awarding grants !

We remind you that the acceptance of documents for participation in the competition for the award of educational grants will begin on July 13, 2023. Admission will be carried out until July 20, 2023.

The number of educational grants in the republic allocated for training at all levels of higher and postgraduate education is 88 thousand. Among them, there are 73 thousand for undergraduate studies.

Acceptance of documents is carried out:

- through university admissions committees;

- in the e-government portal https://egov.kz/

If you encounter difficulties when submitting documents for the competition on the e-government portal, a virtual admission committee has been launched for your convenience from 9:00 to 18:00. The virtual Admissions office will assist you online when submitting documents.

To participate in the competition for the award of state educational grants, the following documents are required:

Certificate or diploma with an appendix + 3 copies;
Certificate of the main UNT from 18.05.23 to 05.07.2023;
3 copies of the identity card;
Medical certificate Form 075-u + fluorography snapshot;
6 3x4 photos.

Implementation of the grant project

PhD, leading researcher - postdoctoral fellow, Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Innovation Salauatova D., Professor of the Department of Management and Innovation Tleuberdinova A. as part of the implementation of the grant project AR14972652 "Diversification of the economy of the Ulytau region through the development of the tourism industry" (supervisor Salauatova D.) to test the interim results of the study, they participated in the IATE PhD workshop and made a presentation at the 7th QATEM seminar "Quantitative approaches in the economy and management of tourism", organized by the International Association of Tourism Economists (IATE) and the Polytechnic University of Hauts-de-France (LARSH) in Valenciennes (France), June 28-30, 2023.
