Technological business incubator "Coworking Center «Dostyk» of Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz on February 06, 2023 organized a meeting of students with entrepreneur, business coach and mentor Baymagambetova Akmaral Rymbekovna on the topic: «Skills of the future: what will help you to be in demand as a specialist and always have money».

During the seminar, the concepts of «Hard skills" and "Soft skills» were revealed and issues related to the understanding of business processes at enterprises, the acquisition of entrepreneur skills and the ability to choose the optimal set of software products, identify customer needs, the ability to manage conflicts and the ability to formalize tasks were considered.

The students expressed their gratitude for the information received during the seminar and expressed their wishes for further cooperation. This event helps to broaden the horizons and intellectual growth of students, helps professional self-determination.

Results of the Atameken-2022 rating: KarU Kazpotrebsoyuz programs are among the best!

The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken", commissioned by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, summed up the results of an independent assessment of educational programs of Kazakhstani universities for the fifth time.
The rating was conducted according to 19 criteria, the main ones are: The level of employment, Median salary, Accreditation of educational programs, Quality of teachers, Relevance of educational programs.
Almost 50% of the educational programs of the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz entered the TOP 10 of the rating, among which:
Rating – 3rd place;
World economy – 3rd place;
International relations - 3rd place;
Logistics – 4th place;
Standardization and certification – 5th place;
Computer technology and software – 6th place;
Food technology – 8th place;
Restaurant business and hotel business – 9th place.
Other university programs also took worthy places in the ranking:
Information systems 12th place out of 50;
Management 12th place out of 36;
Jurisprudence 13th place out of 56;
Finance 13th place out of 65;
State and local government – 13th place;
Tourism 17th place out of 30;
Accounting and auditing – 20th place out of 64;
Economy – 25th place out of 54;
Ecology - 28th place.
Employment according to the university programs that took part in the rating ranges from 66 to 100%, the average salary of graduates of these programs is on average – 134.825 tenge, and the time of job search is from 1.5 to 4 months.

Students studying under the state educational grant of the EP "Accounting and Audit" became the holders of the III degree Diploma

In December 2022, the XIV International Scientific and Practical Conference "December Readings in Memory of S.B. Barngolts (2022)" on the topic "Corporate reporting: expanding the boundaries of accounting and control and analytical tools" was held in Moscow, Russian Federation.
The organizer of the conference is the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
Our university presented the students of the educational program "Accounting and Audit" of the group UA-19-2, studying on a state educational grant, Amina Berdybaeva and Christina Bondarenko.
Students made a presentation on the topic: “Features of reporting in accordance with IFRS in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the context of digitalization” (supervisor Doctor of Economics, Professor Berezyuk V.I.) in the section for bachelors “Corporate reporting: problems of formation, disclosure and verification of information”.
According to the results of the conference, students took the 3rd place of honor!

Scientific seminar "Peculiarities of writing a scientific project"

January 12, 2023 Professor of the Department, PhD "General legal and special disciplines" Karzhasova G.B. in order to involve young people in science, she held a scientific seminar on the topic: "Features and requirements for writing a scientific project." Young university teachers took part in the seminar. The main goal of this scientific seminar is to develop teachers' competencies and research skills in the process of preparing a scientific project. Speaker Karzhasova G. B. demonstrated all the necessary information for submitting a grant project, explained the application process, young teachers showed interest and expressed their desire to participate in scientific projects.
