On this day, the public slaughters cattle, cooks bauyrsaks and dedicates the Koran to the departed ancestors. The elders of each family tell their descendants about the good deeds, joyful moments of their ancestors, brothers and sisters who have passed away. In addition, on this day, the story of the family, the people, and the seven grandfathers will be told. A game was held in honor of "Shezhire Kuni". The game was attended by students of the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz and the College of Economics and Law of Kazpotrebsoyuz.
The International online foreign languages Olympiad dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence, was held at the Eurasian National University. Our students: Mamutov Farid (English language), Abay Korlan (English language) and Rakhimova Tolkyn (German language) presented our university with the great results.
Mamutov Farid, 1st year student of the group IR-20-2, took the 3rd place. Rakhimova Tolkyn, student of the group WE-18-2, took the 2nd place.

On behalf of the President of the country, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, within the framework of the draft concept of the celebration of Nauryz, March 17 was approved as the «Day of Honoring History». In this regard, the Faculty of business, law and technology together with the Karaganda Regional Museum of Local History held a lecture for students of the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz on the topic «Traditions and customs of the Kazakh people». During the lecture, Akniet Zeynepkarova, a researcher at the museum, urged students to appreciate national values, instill a love for the country and the land, as well as to know history.

On March 12, 2021, Kazpotrebsoyuz Karaganda University hosted an international scientific and practical online conference for university and college students, schoolchildren "Current issues of science and education", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Among the participants of the conference are students from India, Poland, Russia and Kyrgyzstan; universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan: Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Abylai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages, Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, K. Zhubanov Aktobe University of Culture; universities of Karaganda, colleges of Balkhash, Zhezkazgan, Temirtau, as well as students of secondary schools of the Karaganda region. More than 140 participants presented their works on topical issues of social and humanitarian, legal, psychological, pedagogical and technical sciences, problems of improving legislation in the field of law enforcement and sports management. The work in the sections became a discussion platform and a place for the exchange of experience, traditions, and a lively and genuine interest in the scientific issues under study. The International Conference for Students and Schoolchildren, which has become a tradition, has confirmed its status as a forum for the further development of student science. The Faculty of Business, Law and Technology expresses its gratitude to the participants, scientific supervisors and moderators for the high level of the conference.
