Within the framework of "Decade of the Department" Department of Marketing and Logistics held an open day for pupils of School №5 №76 of Karaganda and School №1,5,16 of Shakhtinsk. School children after a short excursions on the university participated in the festive program "Kaleidoscope of marketing" wherein showed their knowledge about brands. There were also employers-marketing specialists who told about features and a demand of our specialties in the labor market. Closing was completed by celebratory banquet, organized by the Department.
October 20, 2016 teachers of the department of tourism and restaurant business Mataeva B.T. and Aeshova N.T. we held a visiting session in the hotel complex "Dostar-Alem" with the students specialty "Tourism" and " Restaurant business and hotel business". During the retreat session students were able to become familiar with the organization of hotel business, individual services and planning of food and beverage. Of particular interest was the program implemented to attract customers of the restaurant. Stories employees bowling "Boomer" complemented the presentation on the direction of the hotel complex in the area of customer entertainment organizations. We express our gratitude to the leadership of the Civil Code "Dostar-Alem" in support of the policy of practice-oriented education in Kazakhstan.
October 19, 2016 Lecturer, Department of Tourism and Restaurant Maymurunova AA held a visiting session with students groups Tour-33, Tour 41k specialty "Tourism" on the subject "Turopereyting" on the theme "Technology development of tourism products" with a visit to the HGC 'Avalon' and firms «Nomandic Travel KZ». The purpose of outbound activity was to consolidate the theoretical knowledge in practice. Classes began with an introduction to the activities of CSI "Avalon" and travel company «Nomandic Travel KZ». President of HGC "Avalon" Vitaly Shuptar told the students about the features of the formation, promotion and implementation of the tourism product for foreign tourists. Students showed great interest and asked a lot of questions that received professional response from employees HGC "Avalon" and the tourist firms.
October 14, 2016, the teachers of the Department of SW and SPD held a public study lesson. The format of an open class game journey on the theme «The Silk Road». The main goal: to form the concept about the history and development of the Great Silk Road and its impact on the development of culture of Kazakhstan. In the open class was attended by teams: "Keruen", "Madeniet", "Orkeniet". Intellectual game consisted of three rounds: I round - "Bilgenge marzhan", II round – "Zhyirik bolsan shauyp kor", III round – "Oilan-tap". Followed the progress of the class and evaluated the results of the intellectual game, the jury in the face of the head of the Department of the SW and SPD PhD., associate Professor Abdakimova M.K., senior lecturer Mustafin S. Sh.
October 13, 2016 at 15.10 Erasmus+ project CACTLE (Central Asian Centre of Teaching, Learning and Entrepreneurship) was presented for university staff in 103 audience. There is also involved Karaganda Economic University Kazpotrebsoyuz besides Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan universities in this project, which is controlled by the Vienna Economic University (Austria). 5 teachers have been involved from KEUK in the project including teacher of "World Economy and International Relations" Syzdykbekov E.S. Syzdykbekov E.S. presented the Vienna model of learning (the new version of Bloom's Taxonomy, innovative teaching methods, used by European scientists), which will be used in a future Centre of Teaching, Learning and Entrepreneurship in KEUK.
