"Cooperation in education: Guest lecture on social work and career guidance for students of Karaganda Banking College".

Within the framework of the trilateral Memorandum of Cooperation between Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz, Karaganda Banking College and MF "Hippocrates" LLP, on January 31, 2025, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor and head of the Department of Psychology, Pedagogy and Social Work of Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz Abdakimova Madina Kochkarovna was invited to conduct a guest lecture on "The main trends in the development of social work at the present stage" at the Karaganda Banking College named after J.K. Buketov. Students of the specialty "Social Work" had a unique opportunity to learn about modern challenges and prospects in this important field.

Madina Kochkarova shared valuable knowledge and practical examples that inspired future specialists to achieve new achievements. She emphasized the importance of social work in modern society, as well as the need for continuous professional development in a rapidly changing world.

Special attention should be paid to the participation in this event of our 4th year student of the Social Work program Anastasia Gorbunova. She was not only a student of our university, but also a representative of MF "Hippocrates" LLP. Nastya, being in her final year, got a job, which allowed her to strengthen her theoretical knowledge, put it into practice and act as a specialist.

In addition, Master's degree, teacher Indira Kurmetkyzy Rakhimova conducted career guidance for college graduates, talking about new approaches and innovative practices in social work.She gave information about the possibilities of deepening knowledge and skills in this field, and also presented the university's bachelor's and master's degree programs, which open up new horizons for career growth.

We hope that such events will help students realize the importance of their profession and inspire them to actively participate in the development of the social sphere. These meetings contribute not only to the exchange of knowledge, but also to the formation of professional connections that will be useful in their future careers.

Recognition of Quality: The program 6B11404 Social Work is accredited

We are pleased to announce that the educational program «6B11404 - Social Work» of the Department of «Psychology, Pedagogy, and Social Work» of our university has successfully passed specialized program accreditation. The decision to award the certificate of international accreditation was made by the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and is valid for the next 5 academic years. This success is a clear confirmation of the high level of training of specialists in the field of social work and meets international education standards. The program includes modern teaching, innovative methods of learning, and a focus on developing professional competencies that are in demand both in Kazakhstan and abroad.

The accreditation process covers several key aspects:

Quality of the educational process and the program’s compliance with current labor market requirements;
Compliance with international standards in social work and student competency development;
Professional training of teachers who actively use advanced teaching methods and practices.

We are proud that Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz continues to develop high-quality educational programs aimed at training qualified specialists capable of solving important social tasks. International Scientific and Practical Conference Brought Together Educators from Russia and Kazakhstan

On January 16, the Department of Foreign and Russian Languages of our university, together with Altai State Pedagogical University, held the International Scientific and Practical Online Conference “Promising Technologies and Methods in the Practice of Modern Education”. The event brought together educators, researchers, and professors from various cities in Russia and Kazakhstan, including Karaganda, Almaty, Astana, Moscow, and Novosibirsk.

The conference was divided into two sections:

Digital Transformation of the Educational Environment. Participants discussed the integration of digital technologies into the educational process, assessed their effectiveness, and explored new opportunities for managing educational activities.
Improving the Professional Skills of Educators. The section focused on approaches to professional development, the use of modern technologies, and the adaptation of educational materials to new learning formats.

The opening speech was delivered by Evgeny Viktorovich Kaigorodov, First Vice-Rector of AltSPU, and Aliya Toleutaevna Abdikarimova, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Strategic Development of KarUK. They emphasized the importance of strengthening academic cooperation and wished fruitful work to the participants.

The event served as a platform for exchanging experiences and discussing innovative approaches in education. A key conclusion was the need for flexible methods that consider students' needs while actively utilizing digital technologies.

Seven years of trust and recognition of quality!

Our university has taken an important step in its development, confirming its status as one of the leaders in the field of education. On December 21, 2024, by the decision of the Accreditation Council of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA), we received institutional accreditation for the maximum possible period of 7 years.

This accreditation is not just a formality. This is the result of the hard work of the entire university staff, starting from the faculty and ending with the administration staff. We are proud of the high level of trust in our university, which was made possible by the teamwork and perseverance in achieving our goals.

Seven years is a symbolic period that confirms that our educational programs meet the highest quality standards. We strive not only to maintain this level, but also to continue moving forward in order to offer students even more opportunities for development and professional growth.

We would like to thank the students, teachers and all the staff, whose support and faith in the common cause made this success possible. There are new horizons and ambitious goals ahead, which we will definitely achieve!

We are proud of our common victory and continue to work to ensure that our university remains a place where future professionals are trained, capable of solving the most complex tasks of the modern world.

On December 18, 2024, the international scientific and practical conference “Science through the Eyes of Youth” took place in Astana, organized by the National Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research. The conference brought together over 100 participants from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Tajikistan, and other countries, becoming a significant event for young researchers.
