15 Mar 2017. Department of commodity and certification organized debate tournament in the framework of clarification of the message of the President N..Nazarbayev dated January 31, 2017. "The third modernization of Kazakhstan: global competitiveness" on the theme: "Improving the quality of human capital: problems and prospects". The tournament was attended by students 1 and 2 courses of the University. Tournament participants were awarded with certificates and prizes for taken I, II, III places, also individual participants rated the following nominations: "Best speaker", "Best judge" and "Best endeavor".
On March 14, 2017, the Department of total juridical and special disciplines organized a round table on the topic "Non-fulfillment by parents of maintenance obligations with regard to their underage children". From 26.02.17 to 28.02.17 in the Tomsk State University the "Tenth open international Jiu-Jitsu tournament" was held. Two students of the Accounting and Finance Faculty Turdybekov Bauyrzhan student of the UA-21k group and Omar Islam student of the F-21s/k group represented our university and fought for the Rector's Cup on COMBAT JU-JUTSU "Commonwealth-2017".

The problem of position and the perspective of the language situation in modern Kazakhstan are reflected by the President of the country in the language strategy "Trinity of languages". And today the teachers of universities have the most important task - to study modern methods of teaching of the discipline in English in leading universities of the world and to introduce them into the educational process with the goal of forming a professional poly-lingual personality.
Since November 2016, the Center for Multilingual Education has started functioning at the university; the process of implementation of multilingual education: the disciplines are developed in English, a contingent of trainees is identified, their knowledge is monitored, and qualified teachers are engaged.
2.03. 2017 at 13.10 hour in the audience 307b under the supervision of PhD of the Department of Economics and Management Omarova A.T. was made mini-conference held dedicated to the Address of President N.A. Nazarbayev from 31.01.2017 "The third modernization of Kazakhstan: global competitiveness" with students of the 1-3 courses. March 2, 2017 by the Department of Strategic Development was organized a meeting with representatives of KF JSC "Alfa-Bank" and students of 3 courses of KEUK. Representatives of KF JSC "Alfa-Bank" informed our students about available vacancies; about the possibilities of combining university studies and employment of students in a bank that will allow the end of studies already have work experience and acquire practical skills.
The meeting caused great interest among the audience, held an active dialogue, asked many questions. Representatives of KF JSC "Alfa-Bank" expressed wishes for further cooperation with our university.
The main result of the meeting: "Alfa-Bank" has filled vacancies by our students and gained great staff.

The competition was attended by students and graduates of the Kazakh Humanitarian Law University, Eurasian National University and Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz.
