Representatives of the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz participated in an intensive workshop titled "Management in Higher Education: Setting Up an Internal Quality Assurance System" in Astana.
The goal of the intensive course was to develop key competencies of administrative and managerial staff, as well as employees of academic and strategic departments of universities. Participants were trained in the effective design and development of an internal quality assurance system for higher and postgraduate education, which is a crucial aspect for improving the quality of educational services in Kazakhstan.
The workshop included both theoretical and practical sessions aimed at enhancing skills in analyzing and improving internal processes within universities. Participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues from other educational institutions, discuss current challenges, and find solutions to overcome them.
Participation in such an event helps strengthen competencies and improve the professional level of the university staff, which will, in the long term, contribute to improving the quality of education at Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz.
From June 17th to July 13th of 2024, an English course for applicants to the Master’s degree was held at the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz organized by the Multilingual Education Centre and the Center of Career and Professional Development of university. For more than 4 weeks, participants of the intensive course analyzed lexical and grammatical topics, solved test tasks of previous years, did listening and reading tasks. The staff of the Multilingual Education Centre having updated and summarized grammatical topics, vocabulary and regional information, conducted a useful intensive training of basic skills: reading, listening, using basic vocabulary and grammar.
This course gave participants not only deep knowledge and skills necessary for successful admission, but also self-confidence. They learned how to effectively work with academic texts, improved their speaking and writing skills, and also mastered strategies for successfully passing entrance exams.
All participants received certificates of successful completion of their studies. We wish our participants success and good luck in the exam!
We are pleased to present the results of the 2024 ranking of the National Agency for Educational Quality Assessment (NAOKO). Our university has shown significant achievements in various educational programs at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels.
From October 4th of 2023 to June 28th of 2024, the Multilingual Education Centre at Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz organized courses of State and Foreign Languages for university and college students, catering to various proficiency levels. Certificates were awarded to participants for successfully completing their respective levels, ranging from Beginner to Intermediate. The course participants have put in tremendous effort and acquired new skills in learning State and Foreign Languages. These achievements are a vivid testament to their perseverance, hard work, and dedication to self-improvement.
Multilingual Education Centre thanks all its participants for their efforts and patience, congratulates them on the successful completion of courses of the Kazakh, English, Chinese, and German Languages, and wishes them success in their future endeavors!
Annually, the Multilingual Education Centre conducts language courses and eagerly anticipates welcoming new participants in the upcoming academic year!
On June 19 and 24, 2024, the Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz hosted a meeting of the Commission on the personal distribution of university graduates studying under the state educational order, under the leadership of the rector of the University E.B. Aimagambetov. Graduates, deans of faculties, heads of departments, heads of structural divisions of the university took part in the work of the commission on personal distribution.
At the meeting, proposals on the distribution of our future specialists in key areas were discussed and approved. The Commission took into account both the academic achievements of the students and their professional interests so that everyone could start their professional career with maximum comfort and prospects.
In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education", graduates of bachelor's and master's degree programs studying under the state educational order must work at enterprises of various forms of ownership for at least 3 years, graduates of the doctoral level in higher educational institutions, research institutes, niches.
Today, most of the grant graduates have a job, the rest plan to continue their studies at the next degree of education or start working after a summer vacation.
We are proud of our graduates and confident in their abilities and prospects. This is an important step in their lives, and we will support everyone in their endeavors at a new stage.
