Based on the interests of ensuring a normal, safe mode of work and study and preserving the material assets of the university, an independent, administrative unit of the Security Service was created by order of the university rector dated July 01, 2014. The security service in its activities reports directly to the rector of the university.
The security service is intended for:
1. Organizations and ensuring the maintenance of public order on the territory of the University; 2. Organizations and ensuring security, protecting the rights and legitimate interests of employees, teachers, students of the University in the performance of their duties; 3. Organizations and ensuring the protection of University facilities, material assets and cash; 4. Providing economic security and economic activities of the University. 5. Prevention of offenses among students studying at the University.
The main functions of the unit are:
1. Ensuring the order of admission of workers, students and other persons, as well as vehicles to the building and the territory of the University, as well as the procedure for moving property on the territory of the University or outside the territory of the University; 2. Ensuring the protection of University facilities from theft, theft, robbery, arson and other criminal attacks and public unrest; 3. Organization of the development of measures for the safety of University facilities; 4. Ensuring the proper operation of the security alarm, monitoring its condition and taking measures to repair in case of damage, failure and other malfunctions; 5. Security officers serve in uniforms provided by the university. The security service maintains documentation on all areas of activity, draws up a report on the results of its work for the academic year. KEUK was founded in 1966, the new academic building was rebuilt and put into operation in 1980. Currently, the university has a modern educational complex with an area of 287364, 4 m2 including the main educational building is 16897.6 m2, the gym is 2659.7 m2, the library is 2339.9 m2, the catering department is 3209.5 m2, the DKS is 1829.5 m2, block B is 1800.2 m2.

In the summer season, there is a dining room equipped with fully technological equipment. In order to contain the indicated material infrastructure in KEUK from the day the university was opened, in the 60s of the still cooperative institute, a unit of AHC was created and is successfully functioning. It provides educational services.
The administrative and economic part as a unit is the executor of the management and quality system within the university. AHCH has a map of the Infrastructure Management process with procurement elements and is guided by this card and the MI of the specified process in practical activities.
AHC employs 107 people. All work on the profile. 6 people have higher education, 1– professor, Ph.D., 1 – special secondary. Workers of the brigade and cleaning woman have a secondary education.
The material and technical base of KEUK used to organize the learning process is sufficient and meets the requirements of the educational program of the university.

Admission to the University is carried out by the selection committee of KEUK in the period from 10 to 25 of August.
The end of the 90s - the time of successful technology development of computer networks and the global network Internet in Kazakhstan. It was then, in 1998, was built a laboratory "of new technologies and distance learning" (Order №352-OK from 11/14/98), which largely determined the direction of the laboratory. Its purpose was to create a uniform policy in the field of information and all aspects of the activities of the University, as well as the creation of a common informational space. It was assumed that the laboratory specialists will determine the direction of the base of computers, operating systems and application software, testing it, given the trends in the development of technology and software.
The first draft of the laboratory - the creation of Internet-center. Existing computers (50 pieces) of the University were united in a local network. Successful implementation of the project provided an opportunity to make plans for the construction of the university computer network and provide external links to global networks.
By 2000, the network was built with a dedicated server to run in the direction of distance learning. External communication channel dedicated line was 128Kbit/s. Starting this year, before the laboratory staff was faced with new problems of its content and optimizing hardware and software systems. This has changed the priorities in the activities of the laboratory, whose main purpose was the creation of a network such as the Intranet and the development of distance learning technologies.
Development of the laboratory led to an increase of staff and the reorganization in 2005 to the "Computer Center".
